Hawtin PLC - one of Wales’ leading property investment companies announces that after a long and distinguished 20 years period of service to the company, Stephen Morgan has decided to resign as Finance Director & Company Secretary with effect as from the 30th June enabling him to pursue a number of other business ventures. We wish him well in his new career and thank him for his invaluable assistance in the transition of the Company from a conglomerate of manufacturing and distribution businesses to its potential in today’s market.
As from the 1st July, we are pleased to have secured the services of Nicola Crickmore who will be appointed Company Secretary and will be our Financial Controller. Nicola qualified with BDO Stoy Hayward and has spent most of her subsequent career in the property sector, was formerly a main board director of Newport Holdings PLC, a fully listed property group. For compliance purposes the financial matters in the interim will be supervised at Board level by the Chairman, Bob Carlton-Porter.
Since the appointment of new management some four years ago, Hawtin has shed its historical connections to become an innovative property investment and development business with a portfolio now stretching from the Home Counties to its heartland of Wales. With Nicola’s appointment the management of the Company will be one wholly composed of experts with years of experience in the property sector and who have substantial collective knowledge of the challenges and opportunities the market brings.
